We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Insurance Executive to join our dynamic Motor Insurance team. In this role, you will be the vital link between our clients and top-tier insurers, ensuring seamless policy administration while delivering outstanding support in a fast-paced, digital-first environment. What You Will Deliver

  • Act as the primary subject matter expert for the motor and general insurance teams to provide clear, technical guidance on IA frameworks (including GL21, GL34) and the Code of Conduct for Insurers to ensure all business initiatives remain compliant.
  • Drive the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Terrorist Financing (CTF) program by rigorously monitoring transaction alerts, executing thorough Know Your Customer (KYC) reviews, and managing continuous Sanctions screening for both new and existing policyholders.
  • Oversee the licensing lifecycle by maintaining pristine "Fit and Proper" records for all licensed intermediaries (Responsible Officers and Agents) and providing relevant compliance training.
  • Perform regular reviews and compliance testing on daily operations to proactively identify and mitigate risks.
  • Assist in preparing and submitting mandatory returns, reports, and notifications of material changes to the Insurance Authority (IA) within strict deadlines.
  • Oversee the investigation of regulatory-related customer complaints and ensure they are resolved according to the HKFI Code of Conduct.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Accounting, Business Administration
  • 3–5 years of dedicated compliance, risk management, or internal audit experience, specifically within the General Insurance sector in Hong Kong.
  • Deep, working knowledge of the Insurance Ordinance (Cap. 41), the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (PDPO), and current IA/HKFI guidelines.
  • Principled and highly detail-oriented, with the ability to bridge the gap between strict compliance requirements and daily operations through clear, effective communication.
  • Comfortable and effective at working independently with minimal supervision within a small team setup.
  • Excellent written and spoken English and Cantonese.
