Project Leadership

• Execution of R&D Projects: Lead a team of software engineers to successfully execute software research and development projects within the transportation and logistics domain.
• Technical Guidance: Provide technical direction and oversight, ensuring the team adheres to best practices in software development, including architecture, coding standards, and testing.
• Innovation: Drive innovation by incorporating the latest technological advancements and industry trends into project solutions.

Stakeholder Management

• Effective Communication: Serve as the primary liaison between the project team and internal/external stakeholders. Clearly communicate project progress, milestones, risks, and deliverables.
• Requirement Management: Gather, clarify, and document project requirements from stakeholders, ensuring alignment and mutual understanding.
• Progress Reporting: Regularly update stakeholders on project status through detailed reports and presentations.

Project Delivery

• On-Time and On-Spec: Ensure that projects are delivered according to specifications and on schedule. This involves meticulous planning, continuous monitoring, and proactive issue resolution.
• Quality Assurance: Implement rigorous quality assurance processes to ensure high-quality deliverables that meet stakeholder expectations.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks early and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project continuity and success.

Who You Are

• University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related discipline
• Experience leading the execution of software development projects with a sizable team
• Experience in project management, managing project schedule and budget control
• Domain knowledge in transportation, traffic engineering or logistics is an advantage
• Experience in handling research and development projects is an advantage
