Assistant Accountant
What You Will Deliver
Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), including invoice entry, vendor statement reconciliation, and accurate allocation of customer payments.
Perform regular bank and ledger reconciliations to ensure the highest standards of data accuracy and integrity.
Execute key month-end procedures, including the preparation and processing of standard journal entries and maintaining required schedules.
Review and process employee expense claims, ensuring strict adherence to company policies and approval workflows.
Collaborate with the team on ad-hoc financial projects and provide support as directed.
Who You Are
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional qualification.
A minimum of 4 years of solid accounting experience is required for the Accountant role; candidates with less experience will be considered for the Assistant Accountant position.
Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Cantonese. Fluency in Mandarin is a strong plus.
Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas and Pivot Tables.
A self-starter who is highly organized, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, and dedicated to meeting strict deadlines.
