We are seeking a versatile Data Specialist with strong data engineering skills and a passion for analytics. Based in Hong Kong, you will design and maintain the data infrastructure that powers our analytics, while also transforming data into insights that inform decisions across the business.
Your work will split between building scalable pipelines and data models (engineering), and delivering actionable insights through analysis, dashboards, and storytelling (analytics). This is a high-impact role for someone who enjoys working end-to-end across the modern data stack.

What You'll Deliver

•  Design, build and maintain data pipelines, troubleshoot failures, and continuously improve system efficiency.
• Develop and manage data models, schemas, and storage solutions to support analytics and reporting.
• Optimize workflows for scalability, reliability, and performance (e.g., handling large and complex datasets).
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting to maintain data pipeline health.
• Extract, clean, and transform data using SQL and Python to support analytics and business initiatives.
• Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports to support data-driven decision-making.

Who You Are

• Strong expertise in SQL and Python for data extraction, transformation, and automation.
• Proven experience in building and maintaining production-grade data pipelines and data models.
• Experience working with APIs and other systems for acquiring data
• Comfortable with Git/GitHub workflows and collaborative development.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and their data services (BigQuery, Redshift, S3, etc.).
• Solid background in data analysis, visualization, and storytelling with dashboards (Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or similar).
• Ability to bridge technical and non-technical audiences through clear communication.
