What You will Deliver

• Manage the financial and management reporting for Korea
• Responsible for timely, consistent and accurate monthly local GAAP and IFRS for group reporting 
• Lead and co-ordinate the monthly close process

• Responsible for OPEX and Balance Sheet review & comments
• Prepare monthly Financial Reporting Package for submission to HK
• Review monthly balance sheet schedules
• Conversion to IFRS from local GAAP

• Provide business partnering support to Sales team in terms of financial planning and analysis, monitoring of business results, managing and controlling OPEX budget, sales / promotions / customer profitability analysis, business case analysis
• Responsible for budgeting and rolling forecasts for Korea
• Responsible for working capital management including AR collection and payment processing and controls
• Ensure accounting policies and procedures comply with legal and Corporate guidelines/policies, including compliance
• Review, implement and maintain an effective and robust internal controls system in compliance to SOX requirements, and ensure adherence to approval processes  
• Develop and deliver ad hoc reports for business needs
• Manage internal and external audit requirements, as well as ensure compliance to tax laws
• Liaise with external agents to ensure timely local statutory reporting and relevant tax reporting
• Ad hoc financial projects
• Treasury management

• Reporting actual cash flow weekly to Country Manager and HK
• Reporting monthly cash forecast to Country Manager and HK
• Payment approval daily
• Cash management
• Request funding to HK with cash forecast
• Conversion debt to equity

• Review contracts and report weekly to HK

Who You Are

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline, or professional accounting certification such as Certified Public Accountant / Chartered Accountant 
• At least 7 years relevant experience 
• Working experience in a multinational company environment, with ability to operate in diverse cultures
• Experience in leading a team, and a good team player    
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and good interpersonal skills to give strong business partnering support 
• Acts with integrity and fairness and high standards of accountability
• Who lives in Korea
• Language: English and Korea (written and spoken)
• Strong systems skills with prior experience of Finance ERP systems. Working knowledge of DOUZON iCube is a plus 
• Advanced Excel skills, ability to work with lookups and pivot tables
